
2 Mangoes; peeled, pitted, and
-sliced
2 tb Lime juice
1/2 ts Ground nutmeg
1 c Flour
2 ts Baking powder
1/4 ts Salt
1/2 c Brown sugar
3 tb Margarine; softened
1/2 c Milk

- Preheat oven to 375~. Combine mangoes, lime juice, and nutmeg in
mixing bowl. Spoon fruit into lightly greased 8″ square baking pan.
- Combine flour, baking powder, salt and brown sugar in mixing bowl.
With pastry cutter, cut margarine into flour until mixture resembles
coarse meal. Stir in milk; blend batter until smooth.
- Spread batter evenly over fruit. Bake cobbler for 20-25 mins. or until lightly browned on top. Allow to cool a few min., then cut. Serve warm with yogurt, ice cream, or whipped topping.
